Which operating systems can I install on my AMD EPYC dedicated server?

Our dedicated servers are compatible with a wide range of distributions, operating systems, database management software and hypervisors.
Optimised versions of these distributions and operating systems have been specifically created to get the very most out of your server systems and the OVHcloud infrastructure. You can pre-install them via the OVHcloud Control Panel.
This includes various operating systems (Windows Server, Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS), Plesk and cPanel web management interfaces, and also Microsoft SQL Server for databases. Virtualisation solutions, such as VMware, CoreOS and Windows Hyper-V, can also be integrated.

 

Do OVHcloud Dedicated Servers have redundancy solutions?

OVHcloud’s high density data centres are built for maximum uptime no matter what. To ensure service continuity, redundancy mechanisms are implemented on most network infrastructures. Utilise (OLA) to aggregate your server’s physical network links (public and private), and group them together as a single virtual link attached to the private network. You can then increase your server’s availability and private bandwidth for optimal redundancy and physical network link aggregation. All platforms are based on an architecture with redundant electrical circuits, cooling systems, network, and a redundant power supply.
